Opened in May 2024, Crofter’s Kitchen Scourie is a celebration of Scottish seafood and local produce, offering the best of coastal cuisine on the NC500. Our dishes highlight the natural goodness of the Highlands, with ingredients sourced straight from fishing boats and local fields to our outdoor kitchen by the sea.

Behind Crofter’s Kitchen
As locals of Scourie, we’ve always been inspired by the rugged beauty of the North West Highlands and the hardworking Crofters dedicated to sustainable farming. Our goal was to create a place where both locals and visitors could experience the true essence of the Highlands through fresh, locally sourced food.
Crofter’s Kitchen is run by husband and wife team, Grant and Heather, along with our newest addition—our newborn son. With 16+ years of chef experience, Grant was most recently Head Chef at Kylesku Hotel and has worked in the Alps and beyond.
Our love for the Scottish Highlands led us to Scourie in 2022, where we bought our croft by the sea and turned our dream of running a seafood restaurant on the NC500 into reality.
